How We Could get a Championship Between the Miz and Daniel Bryan

WrestleMania 35 is still quite a few months away. However, it seems that the WWE may be planting the seeds for the main event of the pay-per-view. If you have been watching Smackdown since the brand spilt 2.0 happened, then you would have known that the Miz and Daniel Bryan have been at odds. However, it really began a decade ago when Daniel Bryan was a rookie on NXT. If the WWE is truly set to have the Miz and Daniel Bryan clash at the main event of WrestleMania 35, the WWE could go at it in one way.

At Extreme Rules, AJ Styles is set to defend the WWE Championship against Rusev. While I suspect AJ Styles will retain the belt, you can have him drop the belt to Rusev. However, if you have Rusev capture the belt at Extreme Rules, then he would be nothing more than a transitional champion. Let’s say that AJ Styles retains at Extreme Rules. Heading into Summerslam, you can have the rematch. However, you would have Rusev win by DQ as the Miz interferes.

At the Smackdown following Summerslam, I could Rusev complain that he didn’t lose and demands another shot at the belt. We then see Smackdown General Manager Paige come out and make a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell between the Miz, Rusev, and AJ Styles. At the Super Show-Down in Australia, you can have the Miz and AJ Styles fight for the title. I’d have Rusev get involved in the US title by this point. I would have the Miz win and go on a lengthy run. Fast forward to the Royal Rumble in 2019, Daniel Bryan comes out as 30 and ends up winning the Royal Rumble.

This has been a feud going on for some time and deserves to be one of the vocal points for the WWE heading into WrestleMania 35.
