WWE: Charlotte Isn’t Getting Buried with her Recent Losses

WWE

Since WrestleMania 34, Charlotte Flair has had six matches. As of now, she holds a record of 3-3 (1-0 in tag matches). Two of those loses have come at the hand of current Smackdown Live Women’s Champion, Carmella. Since Charlotte has been losing more lately, there are people who are wondering what the WWE is doing and are they making her WrestleMania win nothing.

As of now, the Smackdown Woman’s division looks like this: Asuka, Becky Lynch, Billie Kay, Charlotte Flair, Lana, Mandy Rose, Naomi, Peyton Royce, and Sonya Deville. Nikki Bella and Tamina are also on the roster, but they haven’t appeared on TV for some time. It seems that Carmella and Asuka are in the main event of the division. There have been reports that the WWE is planning on pushing Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. I don’t suspect this is the way that the WWE is burying Charlotte. However, I suspect that this is there way to keep her relevant. They are keeping her on the back burner and when they need to put the title on her, it won’t be an issue. She is over enough now with the WWE Universe and doesn’t need the title as of now. This the WWE’s attempt to build new people.

I suspect we will see Charlotte back in the title picture at some point. The WWE isn’t going to be foolish enough to not have her in the title picture at some point. You have a talented wrestler who has become one of the backbones in the entire Woman’s Division. However, as we have seen with the men wrestlers, you need to put some of the fan favorites on the back burner to help build new talent. The Woman’s Division on Smackdown will not be hurt by not having Charlotte being the center point of the division.
